SOAP February 15, 2014

Scripture: But some men came down from Judea and were teaching the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.” (Acts 15:1 ESV)

Observation: People have tried to alter the gospel message since the resurrection of Christ.

Application: Speak out when you hear someone add or subtract from the gospel message.  The gospel message is simply: a repentant heart, placing faith in Jesus, and saved by His grace.  

Prayer: Daddy, it is easy for me to make simple things confusing or take complex things and over simplify them.  Give me the words to say, and let me speak of You as a child speaks, simple, straight forward, and honest...and let me never add or take away from your Word. Amen!
