Have you ever been angry about being angry? I have. I get mad at myself, not for the emotion of anger, but the way in which I choose to manifest it. Yelling, hurtful words, being sarcastic, refusing to listen, etc. these are all things that I have done while angry that are hurtful and not helpful. Tonight's passage is one that I will be commiting to memory and pulling it out whenever Satan try's to tempt me to start "seeing red". The anger of man truly does NOT produce the righteousness of God, but instead creates heart-ache and shame for all touched by it. Praying tonight that The Lord would help me to listen more, hold my tongue, process through information and look to give grace and mercy, and then hand it all over to Him so that I might not dwell upon it.
