SOAP April 22, 2014

Scripture: so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. (Hebrews 9:28 ESV)

Observation: The second coming is one of glory and great anticipation.

Application: Many men will seek to leave behind a legacy of their own accomplishments.  The only accomplishment worth striving or achieving is complete surrender to Jesus.  Our only boast is in Christ, for in Him and through Him alone are all things possible.

Prayer: Daddy, I eagerly await the return of Jesus!  Let my tongue not be silent, and let my only boast be in Christ, through by faith I am called a son of God.  Amen!
