Good Friday SOAP entry

Scripture:  In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence. (Hebrews 5:7 ESV)

Observation: Jesus, the son of a God had such reverence for the Father.  He longed to be with Him and routinely sought out times to spend with the Father.

Application:  I need to be more in awe of a God, be reverent, facedown, worshipping, and grateful.  This is especially true today on a Good Friday, when I think about the excruciating torture and crucifixion of a Jesus.

Prayer: Daddy, thank You that You have called us to be Your sons and daughters, bought with the blood of Jesus.  Hel me to never take that forgranted, and always approach You with reverence.  Amen.
