SOAP September 30, 2014

Scripture: So ten of Joseph’s brothers went down to buy grain in Egypt. But Jacob did not send Benjamin, Joseph’s brother, with his brothers, for he feared that harm might happen to him. (Genesis 42:3-4 ESV)

Observation: the foresight of Jacob not sending Benjamin, set the stage for God's plan to be put in motion.

Application: Often life circumstances are confusing in the midst of them, yet after the fact, they are incredibly poignant.  Seek truth in the situation, looking forward, backward, upward, and inward.

Prayer: Daddy, teach us to know Your ways and to desire Your ways above our own.  Amen!
