SOAP September 1& 2

Scripture: After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: “Fear not, Abram, I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.” (Genesis 15:1 ESV)

Scripture 2: And Abram said, “Behold, you have given me no offspring, and a member of my household will be my heir.” (Genesis 15:3 ESV)

Observation: God's promise, however clear, is often received by us with distrust or lack of understanding.

Application: with God, all things are possible.  There is no reason to doubt Him.

Prayer: Daddy, give us faith and trust even in the face of great adversity.  Amen.
