what he sees the Father doing

We are called to be Sons & Daughters of the most high.  Not that we in ourself have any power, but we are a road sign, a point of reference, a reflector pointing others to the Father.  When God is at work in our flawed, less than perfect lives, it is obvious to those around us and it points people in His direction. He points people to Himself so that it will be a testimony about Himself, His power,  and ultimately to the glory of His name.  God wants us to draw near to him, like a child draws near to their mommy or daddy.  He wants us to take an interest in what he is doing and to involve us in it.  If we approach him like a little child, full of wonder, interest, and love, we will truly be in awe of all that He has to show us.
When was the last time you ran to God like a small child runs to their mommy or daddy?  Maybe tonight is the night where you need to run to Him and cry out for him to make it all right, run to Him and ask Him to keep you safe, to love you for who you are.

John 5;19-21

19 So Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him all that he himself is doing. And greater works than these will he show him, so that you may marvel.21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will.

    1. Thank you for the kind words. We had some great conversations back then and I'm very happy that we are still in contact. I know we all have our struggles, yet we also all have a Father who loves us deeply and wants us to rely on Him fully. Praying for you and your family.
      Glenn
