Ephesians 6;10-12
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
All of life is a great battle. It is an epic war waged since the fall in the Garden of Eden. Satan will take every good thing and try and pervert it, twist it, and draw us away from God. This battle can not be won by flesh and blood, it is spiritual in nature, though it does impact our flesh and blood. In the next several days I will be talking about "putting on the whole armor of God" and waging spiritual warfare. Today's message is simple, be aware of the things that draw you away from God, because that is where the enemy is waging war in your life. Now that we know there is a battle raging on, prepare for war!
