Be loved without fear

Scripture: “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”

1 John 4:18 NIV

Observation: Fear is a distraction that causes us to distrust that God can love us so much because of our sin.

Application: God's love is a perfect love, a love that is incapable of failing or leaving us.

Prayer: Father, let me not test Your love, but rather welcome it, rely on it, and rest in it.  Amen
